Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger state has approved the appointment of a former staff of News Agency of Nigeria NAN, Alhaji Tanko Dada as Senior Special Assistant SSA, Media Relations and Strategy.
According to the statement, the appointment which takes immediate effect was signed by the Secretary to the State Government SSG, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Matane.
The appointee a veteran journalist is to report to the office of Commissioner of Information and Strategy in the ministry who is to monitor his activities as required.
He was urged to work assiduously to justify the confidence reposed in him for the appointment for the betterment of the entire state
Before his appointment, Tanko Dada was a one time Director General (DG) Public Affairs to immediate past governor Muazu Babangida Aliyu who later retired as an Assistant Editor In chief News Agency of Nigeria after 35 years of service.
