The Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has approved new appointments in the state’s education sector as part of ongoing reforms aimed at improving efficiency, accountability, and service delivery.
In a statement from the Government House, Minna, the Governor announced the constitution of a new board for the Niger State Universal Basic Education Board, NSUBEB, and the appointment of members for the Niger State Secondary Education Board, SSEB.
For the Universal Basic Education Board, the newly appointed members are:
Ibrahim A. Liman as Chairman, Monday Emigi, Mohammed Mudi, Samuel Makotso, Malik Madaki Bosso, Mohammed Marnnan Auna as Members, and Dr. Aminu Wushishi as Secretary.
Similarly, for the Secondary Education Board, Abdulkadir Isah Nafuntuwa has been appointed Chairman, while Mohammed Madami Evuti, Salihu Danladi, Yusuf A. Yakubu Salka, Dr. Yini Usman, and Abubakar Garo are to serve as members. Dr. Ahmed Egbako will serve as Secretary of the Board.
