Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has congratulated Muslim ummah for the Islamic New Year 1446 After Hijrah
Governor Bago in a congratulatory message by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, to felicitate with Muslim faithful, urged them to be more devoted to the worship of Allah.
He encouraged them to sustain their prayers for an enduring peace in the State and the country at large.
The governor acknowledged the significance of the Islamic New Year to Muslims, the farmer Governor stressed the need for all adherents of Islam to continue to imbibe the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Hadith as well as be ambassadors of peace and unity.
The Islamic New Year is significant to all Muslims as it is used to determine the dates of religious duties and important events in Islam.
