Niger Gov. swears in NNPP candidate as Gurara Council Chairman

Niger state Governor Abubakar Sani Bello has advised all political parties in the state to respect their party’s internal democracy so as to avoid litigation.
The Governor stated this at the swearing in ceremony of the chairman Guarara local Government AbdulHalim Abubakar of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
The event was presided over by the Niger State Chief Judge, Justice Halima AbdulMalik represented by Justice Maria Mahmud at the government House Minna.
Represented by his Deputy, Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed Ketso charged the newly sworn in chairman to carry everyone along in the discharge of his local Government administration,as well as urged him to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of his constituency.
The newly sworn in chairman assured to operate an open door policy ,respect the rule of law and defend the constitution.
