Niger govt committed to civil service repositioning, says SSG

The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Ahmed Ib_rahim Matane has reaffirmed the present administration’s determination at repositioning the Civil Service for optimal performance.
The SSG stated this yesterday in Minna when he received the Forum of Retired Permanent Secretaries led by the Chairman, Engineer Ndagi Aliyu who were in his Office to rejoice with him over his appointment as the Secretary to the State Government by Governor Abubakar Sani Bello.
Matane told the Retired Permanent Secretaries that the reinvigoration of Civil Service by the State Government will subscribe to the goal of efficient service delivery, transparency and openness.
He assured the Retired Permanent Secretaries that his Office will engage technocrat and people of proven integrity by working closely with the Forum with a view to attaining the restoration agenda of the present administration led by Governor Abubakar Sani Bello.
The SSG commended members of the Forum for their resilience, doggedness and commitment to the development ideals of Government.
Earlier in his remarks the Chairman of the Forum of Retired Permanent Secretaries, Engineer Ndagi Aliyu told the SSG that they were in his Office to felicitate with him on his recent appointment as the Secretary to the State Government.
