From Yakubu Mustapha Minna
Niger state government has sought the partnership of the state command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, in protecting the critical assets especially the telecommunications facilities in the state.
The State Commissioner of Communication Technology and Digital Economy, Alhaji Suleiman Isah made this known during his courtesy visit to the Commandant, Mr Joashin Okafor in Minna.
He decried over some pockets of vandalisation of communication facilities and called for protection to enhanced zero incidents.
Responding, the Niger state commandant of NSCDC, Joashin Okafor has warned criminals involved in the vandalisation of public assets and infrastructures to start relocating from the state or face the full wrath of the law.
He reaffirmed the command’s commitment to synergise, collaborate and give the Niger state all the needed support in fighting vandalism.
