Niger govt reiterates commitment to reposition health sector

Niger State government has reaffirmed the commitment of the current administration’s to reposition both primary and tertiary health sector.
In a statement issued by the governor’s Special Adviser on Digital Media and Strategy, Abdulbaqy Usman Ebbo said Governor Umaru Bago is giving the health sector the desired attention to ensure no medical worker leave the state.
Abdulbaqy Ebbo explained that before now, the doctors’ quarters at General Hospital, Minna, had been in poor condition for many years, resulting in terrible living conditions for doctors
He stated that Governor Umaru Bago has completely transformed the doctors building, making the quarters habitable and conducive for them.
