Niger state government is set to sustain its partnership with the Association for Reproduction and Family Health (ARFH) in ensuring the provision of adequate family planning commodities in the state.

The ARFH Director of Programs, Dr Kolapo Oyeniyi made this known during an interview ofter his team paid a courtesy visit to the Niger state Ministry of Primary Health in Minna, expressing confidence in the state government’s commitment in the health sector.

Dr Oyeniyi disclosed that it had earlier implemented a successful program in Niger state, hence the need to sustain the Family Planning project in four states and in new other states of the nation.

He applauded the Niger state government for being the first state to transform its Primary Health Care Agency to a full ministry to ensure effective and efficient service delivery in the basic health care provision.
