Niger govt. to pass 2020 budget before December 31-Commissioner

The Niger State government has reiterated its commitment to ensure that 2020 appropriation budget of the state is passed to the State House of assembly for onward passage before the end of this year to enhance accelerated development.
Commissioner of Ministry of Planning Commission, Alhaji Mamman Musa made the disclosure yesterday at government house Minna after executive council meeting.
He said that the council has deliberated and approved to present to the state assembly so as to ensure its passage in to law by the legislature before the end of the year.
Musa explained that this was in compliance with the processes noting that the budget would focus on priority projects most especially the ongoing ones.
The commissioner hinted that there were ongoing projects that will meet up with the aspirations of the people in the state hence the need for their completion.
