The chairman of Chanchaga local government in Niger State, Alhaji Danjuma Yusuf Ma’aji has received a Visionary Leadership and Ambassador of Progress Award from Orator Weekly Newspaper.
Presenting the award yesterday in Minna, the Managing Editor and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr Nasir Hussain said that it was a confirmation of his tremendous achievements within his tenure in the council.
He attributed such strides to chairman’s worth of experience and exposure hence the political well to attract current activities, policies and Programmes in the council just as he was well investigated and found worthy to bestowed the award on him.
Hussain however called for emulate his examplary life and urged politicians and those opportune who held public offices to be mindful of the masses needs most especially the necessities of life to impact positively on the citizens especially the downtrodden.
In his remarks, the awardee chairman, Danjuma Yusuf Ma’aji appreciated and dedicated the award to the management and entire staff of the council who he said had been supportive and hardworking for his success.
Ma’aji assured to justify the confidence reposed on him and commended Governor Abubakar Sani Bello on behalf of the council chairmen for the opportunity to serve their people.
