Niger NDE trains 150 on self employment

The Niger State National Directorate of Employment NDE has commenced the training of 150 beneficiaries of Basic National Open Apprentice Scheme (BNOAS) to ensure that they are self reliant economically.
The participants which cut across the three senatorial districts of the state has 50 beneficiaries from each of the zone with centres at Minna in zone B, Bida in zone A and Kontagora from zone C hence their training going on simultaneously.
The Director General of NDE, Dr Nasir Ladan disclosed yesterday after inspection tour of the state training centres in Minna said that the scheme will last for three months.
Ladan noted that Nigerians should begun to change their attitude of seeking for colour jobs to be self employed, reliant and make earnings on their own.
Represented by the Chief Vocational Skills Development Officer (CVSDO) Mr James Solomon, stated that by the mission of the agency creation of job for all Nigerians is its mandate that must be pursuit vigorously.
The State Coordinator. Engr Abdullahi Mohammed, however, urged the participants to take the opportunity seriously to better their lives, families and the entire society.
