From Yakubu Mustapha Minna

The organized labour in Niger State has resolved to comply with the National directive for the resumption of the earlier suspended indefinite strike action of workers in Nigeria.
This was contained in a statement issued by the two unions yesterday in Minna, Niger state capital.
According to the statement jointly signed by the NLC state chairman comrade Idris Lafene and state TUC chairman Ibrahim Gana, the resolution was reached at an emergency state executive council meeting at labour house.
They expressed disappointment over the delay in the implementation of the wage award in Niger state.
They insisted that a circular on the reversal of the 2007 CPS law be released before consenting to the proposed automation and verification of pension processes.
The statement expressed determination to hold Imo state accountable for the violence against the leadership of NLC in that state, hence the union members should commence the strike as directed until government meets their demands.
