The Niger state government has received 21 trafficked children with average age of 9 from Magama local government area of the state.
The State Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba made this known while he received the children on behalf of the Niger state government in Minna.
He said they were intercepted in Gaidam, Yobe state enroute Cameroon, Mali and Niger Republic.
He explained that the rescued underage children are from Magama local government area of Niger state.
He appreciated the federal government, security agencies, human trafficking agency for the rescue of the children.
