Niger youths protest at INEC office, want results uploaded

Youths in their numbers under the auspices of ‘Aggrieved Nigerian Youths stormed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) State Office in Minna over non uploading of election and alleged irregularities
The youths led by Mr. Mike Junior marched to the INEC office in protest on what they described as ‘rigged’ result of the just concluded presidential election in the country.
Addressed the protesters in Minna, the Secretary of Administration, INEC Yakubu Doko who assured them of the Resident Electoral Commissioner’s assurance that whatever the headquarters of INEC says will be communicated in due cause.
According to Doko who represented the State REC, Alhaji Ahmed Yusha’u Garki, reiterated that they are open and have nothing to hide, but for clarifications on the uploading of results, said they will wait to hear from the INEC headquarters in Abuja”.
The aggrieved youths requested from the Independent National Electoral Commission to tell them why the presidential election polling units results where not transmitted electronically to the INEC result viewing portal.
