Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has marked Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary with a call to action for unity and collective progress.

In his message, the governor highlighted the state’s achievements under his administration and emphasized the importance of collaboration in building a peaceful, just, and prosperous Nigeria.

The governor’s administration has launched 85 urban and rural road projects, covering a total of 785 kilometers across the state, to facilitate trade, reduce travel time, and enhance access to markets.

The Rural Revitalisation Agenda has reawakened the economic potential of previously marginalized communities, with the reopening of key markets and reclamation of over 500,000 hectares of abandoned farmland.

The administration is executing a comprehensive reform of the educational system, including infrastructure upgrades, teacher training, and digital tools integration, to ensure every child has access to quality learning.

The government has upgraded 255 Primary Health Care Centres across the state, bringing vital services closer to rural communities.

Peacebuilding and Social Inclusion
The governor emphasized the importance of peacebuilding and social inclusion, highlighting the administration’s investments in community security, reconciliation, and dialogue.

He also noted that justice, equity, and inclusion are the cornerstones of the state’s governance approach.
