Nigeria tennis star escapes death in fatal crash

Nigerian tennis star, Uchenna Oparaoji, recently cheated death after surviving a fatal road accident on his way back to Abuja last week
Oparaoji, ranked number three by the Nigeria Lawn Tennis Federation, escaped death when the vehicle he was traveling in back to his base in Abuja was involved in a road mishap.
The lawn tennis star who personally narrated the incident, said the accident happened in an undisclosed area in Anambra State and claimed one live and many occupants of the vehicle injured.
“I give thanks to God for sparing my life”, Oparaoji said, adding that he has safely returned to Abuja.
“But I was devastated by the incident and cannot wait for the Federal Government to reopen sporting activities in the country”, claiming that he is fully ready to hit the tennis courts again in order to continue from where he stopped before the Coronavirus pandemic outbreak that led to the suspension of sporting activities across the globe.
