The Njange Ndure, under the Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’a Wa ikamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS), has said that the Nigerian security operatives were completely discriminatory against the Fulani nation in Nigeria, saying that the security personnel in the country would always kill them and destroy their properties without any justification.

The statement, issued vide a press release in Jos, signed by its National chairman, Ardo Muhammad Bello Usman said, in the statement that, “We find it difficult to understand why the Fulani community in Nigeria is suffering from these series of discrimination in their own country, as citizens of Nigeria. Is it because of the larger population of the Fulani in Nigeria or because they are practicing Islam?

“The Fulani community views the injustice and the discriminatory actions of the security agencies in Nigeria and the Federal Government as a grand design aimed at weakening the economic base of the Fulani and to flush them out of the country even though they are residing in the villages with their cows.

“It is our belief that the operation was discriminatory against the Fulani and it was designed to flush out the community from Riyom LGA of Plateau state and Nigeria at large.”
