The leadership of the Unified Nigerian Youth Forum, UNYF, has commended Kogi state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for empowering young people with position of responsibilities.
The forum said the governor recruited them in to the civil service and given them the required training and opportunities to acquire skills in a bid so prepare them for the future.
The Forum’s President, Comrade Abdulsalam Mohammed Kazeem, stated this in a statement made available to media in kaduna yesterday.
The statement stated that the forum observed that for a long time in the history of the country that the youth have been referred to as leaders of tommorow without step taken to allow them showcase their God given potentials.
The forum noted with delight that the governor is raising the next generation leaders, not only in Kogi state but the nation at large thereby leading to series of appointments of notable youths and women leaders with sounds intellectual mobility with grass root mobilization capacity.
