NIPOST boss charges students to imbibe letter writing habit

The Post Master General and CEO of Nigeria Postal Services, NIPOST. Bisi Adegbuyi, has charged students to imbibe the culture of writing letters and reading to develop English Language skills and talent of communication in the country.
Bisi Adegbuyi, gave the advice on Monday during the ceremony of World Post Day yesterday at General Post Office Wunti Bauchi, said students need to imbibe the habit of writing letter to enable them develop skills of writing.
Represented by Universal Post Union UPU Director General Bishar A Hussein,said we will also be celebrating the younger generation, who are not losing the habit of writing even in the age of technology.
He called for increased effort to abolish old practices which persist because of lack of socioeconomic development.
The NIPOST boss stressed that World Post Day was meant to raise awareness of the post role in the everyday lives of people and businesses, as well as its contribution to global social economic development.
In his remark, the Zonal Manager Bauchi Zone Mr Egwu I Egwu.
Represented by Deputy Zonal Manger Isa Barau Hassan, said the zone is determined to develop youth through postal education and letter writing competition.
