NITDA to organise 2014 e-governance conference next week

NITDA-National Information Technology Development AgencyAll is now set for the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) to organize the 2014 e-governance conference next week in Abuja.

The public conference is with the theme: Creating marketing opportunities for indigenous IT products and services, and is going to be a remarkable event as the e-Nigerian project is an annual international conference on Information Technology.

According to NITDA , the conference would feature events such as, showcasing indigenous IT innovations for national development; value addition, wealth creation and job creation; strategies for enhancing quality of made in Nigeria goods and services; building IT entrepreneurs and human capital in Nigeria and leveraging international IT exposure and fora for showcasing Nigeria content.

NITDA said it will also use the opportunity to organize e-Governance Awards for recognizing efforts in leveraging ICT for better governance in Nigeria. The conference scheduled to hold on 18th of November 2014, at Congress Hall Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.

Key dignitaries expected at the conference are: Jelani Aliyu, MFR, Lead Concept Designer, Chevrolet Volt Electric Car (Keynote Speaker), Mrs. Omobola Johnson, Minister of Communication Technology (Chief Host) and Mr. Peter Jack, DG, NITDA .
