Nnamdi Kanu arrest shows Nigeria’s security, intelligence still potent – AAC

African Action Congress (AAC) has said the arrest of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, by the federal government, has indicated that the intelligent and security system of Nigeria is still very potent, despite the security challenges facing the country.
In a statement issued yesterday by the National chairman of AAC, Leonard Nzenwa, in reaction to the arrest of IPOB leader, the party said the Federal government can equally succeed in deploying similar tact and capacity to address the challenges of Boko Haram, banditry, and kidnapping for ransom by criminals of various shades.
The AAC statement said “Arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the visibly discontented and hell-raising Leader of Indigenous Peoples of Biafra in a classic, high-end, unconventional, international, watertight sting intelligence operation bespeak of not only the high and unquestionably capacity of the Nigeria Intelligence body with other security outfits to stop the litany of terrorist acts perpetrated by assortment of groups including Boko Haram, Herdsmen, Bandits on Nigerians but reinforces the conviction in informed quarters that Nigeria security apparatchiks is able to successfully rein all criminal elements terrorizing the country if they sincerely exert same effort and resources dispensed in arresting Nnamdi Kanu.
“SINCERITY is the watchword. If the hunt-down for terrorists and bandits are pursued with same vigor and sincerity the mayhem visited on Nigerians and Nigeria over the years would have been a thing of the past. JUSTICE is crying out in Nigeria! This matter require great WISDOM and TACT to be handled”, the party said.
