Petroleum Products Pricing and Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) has assured fuel consumers nationwide that there is no plan by the federal government to review the pump price of fuel.
PPPRA said it would continue to monitor the supply situation and take every step required to ensure that there is no disruption whatever in the system.
In a statement signed by its Executive Secretary, Abdulkadir Saidu, the agency assured all stakeholders and members of the public of un-interrupted products supply and distribution, pursuant to the over all goal of facilitating a vibrant and robust Downstream Oil and Gas sub-sector.
PPPRA said, it was aware of the sudden appearance of queues and attendant discomfort felt by the public and stakeholders across the country, and assured speedy resolution.
The agency advised Nigerians especially motorists not to engage in panic buying, assuring that Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) being the major supplier of the products would ensure the availability of the products.
