The statement added that David would mobilise Christian women across the region for prayer, evangelism, advocacy, peacebuilding and community development, working closely with the National Executive Council and other organs of the Assembly.
Other responsibilities include presiding over meetings of the Women Wing, ensuring proper documentation and implementation of decisions, and representing the Wing at official engagements with internal and external stakeholders.
She is also tasked with promoting mentorship, capacity building and leadership development among women, while ensuring discipline, accountability and adherence to the Assembly’s constitution and values.
The appointment is for a single tenure of five years, commencing on August 8, 2025, and ending on August 7, 2030, unless reviewed by the Board of Trustees.
