NPHDA DG donates health materials to Kebbi state

The Executive Director,  National Primary Health Care Development Agency(NPHCDA),  Dr. Ado Gana has donated 125 motor cycle, man kits, and midwifery kits, drugs which to be shared to 225 house facilities across the state.

Presenting the materials to the state Governor,  Alhaji Usman Saidu Dakingari at the state house, the  Agency DG said, that the materials were received under the European Union [EU], maternal and new child and health care project.

Dr. Gana further explained that the essence of the donation is to enhance maternal health care delivery and also to prevent maternal and child mortality and to complement the effort of the state government in that direction.

Responding, the state Governor Alhaji Usman Nassamu Dakingari commended the agency for the kin gesture towards the state, and assuring that all items would be delivered to the right people.

He said that government has done a lot in the health sector and specifically, the maternal health care delivery, by constructing more health centers, rural and linkage roads in order to make it easier for motorists to reach the centers, across the 21 local governments in the state.
