NUC applauds IBBUL for take off of Law, Pharmaceutical Science faculty

National Universities Commission (NUC) have commended the Management of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai for ensuring adequate preparations towards the takeoff of Faculty of Law and Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Institution in the next academic session.
A resource inspection team which was a combination of Director Academic Planning of NUC, a SAN, and Professor of Law as well as renowned Professors of Pharmaceutical Sciences from high ranking universities in the country were received by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abu Kasim Adamu at the Management Meeting of the University in Lapai.
Speaking while receiving the two teams, the Vice Chancellor appreciated the Acting Executive Secretary of the Commission, Mr Chris Jibreel Mayaki for leading the delegation to inspect and assess the two programmes and stressed that the University was conscious of the Commission’s standards and is ready to maintain them accordingly.
In their separate remarks, the NUC delegations applauded the Management for their futuristic plan towards the establishment of the two faculties in the University.
On his part, the Director Academic Planning, National Universities Commission (NUC), Mallam Abubakar Girie said IBB University, Lapai Faculty of Law complex being constructed, when completed will be a model and largest in Nigerian universities.
He stressed that the complex was well structured and well organized, with all the required facilities and adequate offices for both Teaching and Non teaching staff with Moot Court, Law Clinic, Judge’s Chamber, Law Library and e-law Library in the building.
He explained that the Law complex has an ultra-modern auditorium, six classes with over two hundred and fifty seats capacity.
Also, the team leaders of the two Faculties, Professor Maxwell Michael and Professor Ibrahim Mohammed Sule lauded the Management of the University for strictly adhering to the rules of establishing and commencement of the Law and Pharmaceutical Sciences programmes.
