Nursing council offers free medical outreach to 1,000 displaced, vulnerable women

Kaduna State Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives Saturday offers free medical outreach to 1,000 displaced and vulnerable women in kawo community of the state.
Speaking during the outreach at Hanyin banki primary school the state, Commissioner for health, Ummi Kalto- Ahmed commended the association for a good initiative adding that it will help the women and improve their health.
She encourages them to embrace the kind gesture given to them by health personnels, and also ensure that the go for vaccination because it is free.
“ I advised you to take every advantage given to you during medical outreaches like this, make sure you take care of yourselves and your children to prevent sicknesses.
“Health is wealth, improved in your hygiene, and avoid self medication because it has adverse effects on one’s health.
The commissioner assures them of the government commitment to improving the quality of health delivery of the state.
“ Governor Uba Sani is committed to the health and well being of the citizens of the state.”
