Nutrition: UNICEF leads Kwara team to Jigawa on Masaki program learning visit

The delegation team from Kwara state government with support from United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), has commenced a three day learning visit in Jigawa state, on Masaki nutrition program.
Speaking during the discussion session, the UNICEF Chief of Field Office Kaduna, Dr Gerida Birukila, who was represented by the nutrition Specialist Chinwe Eziefe said, the aim of the visit was to give participants a first hand insight into the implementation strategies and success of the Masaki Initiative in Jigawa state.
She said the visit will also help to provide a valuable opportunity for cross learning and sharing of experience especially in areas of community engagement.
