General Kazaure, who currently embarked upon national tour to NYSC orientation camps, directed all serving corps members to always cooperate with security agencies and to ensure frequent report about questionable movements and hazy activities.
“You should avoid unguarded night pleasure activities or travelling without permission, but you should always move in group and make sure that you report to the security on any activities you engaged into.
“You should feel free and serve your beloved country, the NYSC had made serious arrangement with security agencies to ensure adequate security for your lives and property to comfortably serve in Zamfara state”, Kazaure informed.
He further directed the state NYSC management to avoid posting corps members to seriously security challenging areas, this he added, was in line with the plan earlier designed to ensure their safety during their services nationwide.
The DG also urged corps members to be serious enough on reasons they found themselves at the camp, especially the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme (SAED), saying, the federal government had introduced it as part of the NYSC activities to train corps members on various skills for them to be self reliant.
Earlier, the state NYSC Coordinator, Hajiya Walida Isa stated that, about 2,000 corps members who were eventually deployed to the state have been registered for orientation, adding that, measures have been taken by the management of the NYSC in collaboration with security agencies to ensure the camp is secured.
