NYSC wants information officers to monitor social media

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has urged information officers to step-up the monitoring of the social media so as to promptly correct misconceptions as well as fake stories peddled about the scheme. 

 The overseer of the scheme, Mrs. Christy Uba stated this yesterday in Abuja during press and public relations, protocol and FOIA workshop.

She said that the crucial tasks of projecting the good image of the scheme has played a facilitating roles in its much-celebrated contributions to national unity and development.

She added that NYSC Press and PR officers’ Training Workshop is a mandatory programme in furtherance of Management’s commitment to building the capacity of Staff for higher productivity.
