The Director General of the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) Major General Shuaibu Ibrahim has said that despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the scheme would continued to operate effectively in line with the established safety and protocols.

The Director General reaffirmed this yesterday in Abuja during the 2022 NYSC annual management conference with a theme “ repositioning the NYSC for improved healthcare delivery, revenue generation and corps employment for self-reliance”.

He said the scheme has been working closely with Presidential Steering Committee on Covid 19, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control as well as Federal Ministry of Health for safe and efficient conduct of orientation courses.
