Obi of UGA condole Gov Soludo over father’s death

The Obi of Uga Kingdom, His Royal Highness,
Igwe Chidi Stephen Ezenwugo has condole, Anambra state Governor, Charles Soludo over the demise of his father, Pa Nwankwo Simon Soludo, who passed on Monday, November 6, 2023 at the age of 92.

In a statement he described Pa Simon Soludo as an exemplary leader who will be greatly missed by many.

According to the statement he personally signed, the late deceased had set standards for the great Kingdoms of Isuofia and Uga that will outlive him.

The statement read in parts, “The news of the passing of Pa Simon Soludo, the father of the Executive Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, was received with sadness by the entire community of Uga Kingdom and will be greatly missed.

“Pa Simon Soludo, until his demise, was an outstanding Patriarch not only of the Soludo family, but of the entire people of Isuofia and Uga Kingdoms.

“It is our sincere prayer that God will grant him eternal rest and give His Excellency and the rest of his family, the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
