A non governmental organisation popularly known as Organisation for Community Civic Engagement of Nigeria (OCCEN) with support from National Endowment for Democracy called for youths and women participation in politics.
The call was made by the executive director OCCEN comrade Abdurraq Alqali during a panel discussion for inspiring the aspiring young politicians in Jigawa state.
Comrade Alqali insisted that, it is the right time for youths and women to fully participate in politics.
According to him, youths carry majority of Nigeria’s population.
He said youths also are engines of any development as well as the back bones of any community.
