Comrade Ambassador Okereafor Bestman Opeyemi, Ogun State Coordinator of the Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), has praised Bola Tinubu for what he described as a firm commitment to Nigeria’s peace, progress and development.
Opeyemi in a statement on Monday, said the President’s renewed call for the creation of state police was a bold and timely intervention in the country’s worsening security challenges.
He noted that decentralising policing would strengthen intelligence gathering at the grassroots, curb insecurity and create employment opportunities for youths across the states.
The RTIFN coordinator urged the National Assembly to fast-track legislative work on the bill, stressing that delays could further expose communities to security risks.
According to him, speedy passage of the state police framework would enhance national stability and restore public confidence in security governance.
Opeyemi added that Nigerians were looking to the legislature to match the President’s resolve with decisive action in the national interest.
