The Permanent Secretary, Federal Capital Territory Administration, Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa has condoled with the family of Ambassador (Dr) Abiodun Nathaniel Olorunfemi over the passing of the former FCTA Permanent Secretary.
Ambassador Olorunfemi, whose death occurred last week was the Permanent Secretary, FCTA, from 2011 to 2012 and upon his retirement, was appointed as Nigeria’s ambassador to Namibia.
Ohaa, in a condolence message signed by Chief Press Secretary, FCTA, Anthony Ogunleye, described late Ambassador Olorunfemi as a highly detribalised Nigerian, and an efficient and resourceful bureaucrat, who made far reaching innovations in the administration of the FCT.
“Ambassador Olorunfemi came to the FCTA with a very rich academic and professional experience which he utilised effectively in the administration of the FCTA.
“His demise has left a big vacuum especially in the civil service and diplomatic communities,” Ohaa was quoted in the statement.
The Permanent Secretary therefore prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and fortitude for his family to bear the loss of Amb. Olorunfemi’s passage.
