Nigeria’s hope of winning a medal in the short distance race at the Tokyo 202 Olympic Games was given a boost Sunday when Nigeria Queen of the track Blessing Okagbare emerged first in the Women’s 60m final of the American Track League.
Okagbare ran a time of 7.17s (PB) to place first in the Women’s 60m final of the American Track League.
Earlier, she clocked a quick 7.19s to finish 2nd in the second heat of the women’s 60m at the American Track League Meet, just behind Jamaica’s Christania Williams who ran 7.18s (opener).
