*As The Etsu Nupe is conferred with Grand Patron of NigeriaFIRST Foundation

Former Inspector General of Police, IGP, Sir Mike Okiro has tasked Nigerians on the need to build a nation that authentically reflects the teachings of an ideal society that stands resolutely for unblemished justice, unwavering equity, and an all-encompassing love for all.

This, Okiro pointed out, should be done irrespective of race, political affiliation, religious creed, or personal interests.

The former IGP said this on Tuesday night in Abuja on the occasion of the appointment and formal unveiling of His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Abubakar, The Etsu Nupe and Chairman of Niger State Traditional Rulers Council as the Grand Patron of NigeriaFIRST FOUNDATION and the Iconic Brand Ambassador of NigeriaFIRST.

Sir Okiro, who is also the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the NigerianFIRST Foundation, further made case for the promotion of an enduring peace and meticulously cultivating a renewed national patriotic consciousness.

The former IGP lauded The Etsu Nupe’s

unwavering dedication to cultivating a vibrant spirit of patriotism across Nigeria, particularly amongst the burgeoning youth, stressing that it is not merely commendable; but a pillar of the national regeneration we fervently champion.

He explained that NigeriaFIRST Foundation, as a preeminent pro-good governance and social justice organization, is unequivocally committed to actualizing the “NigeriaFIRST” ideology.
