The Delta State Commissioner for Primary Education, Mr. Chika Ossai, has said that the administration of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa had impacted positively on the overall well-being of Deltans and residents through several critical initiatives.
Ossai, who made the disclosure in an interview with the New Nigeria Television Channel in his office in Asaba, said that there was multiplicity of infrastructural development, ranging from road projects, health facilities and infrastructure in the education sector as well as empowerment programmes.
He stated that the essence of the various empowerment programmes was to make youths and women self reliant and entrepreneurs.
The commissioner, who said that the administration of Senator Okowa had upgraded three higher institutions to universities to accommodate more Deltans seeking admission into universities, noted that public primary schools in the state were receiving attention from the state government.
