Maduka Okoye
Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has emerged as a transfer target for Turkish giants Besiktas ahead of the new season.
According to a report by SCORENigeria, the Istanbul-based club, now under the leadership of new head coach Vincenzo Italiano, is in the market for a new first-choice goalkeeper after conceding 40 league goals last season.
Okoye is understood to be one of the leading candidates, with his profile fitting the club’s recruitment plans.
The 25-year-old has continued to attract attention across Italy as well.
Juventus have maintained a long-standing interest in the Nigerian international, although they are yet to submit an official bid.
Fellow Serie A clubs Torino and Inter Milan are also monitoring his situation.
Despite having two years remaining on his contract, Udinese are reportedly prepared to consider offers for the goalkeeper.
The Serie A side is also believed to have begun searching for a potential replacement, suggesting they could be open to negotiations if a suitable proposal arrives.
Okoye enjoyed a solid 2025/2026 campaign, making 30 Serie A appearances for Udinese.
He has also earned 21 caps for Nigeria since making his senior international debut.
According to Transfermarkt, the Super Eagles’ shot-stopper is currently valued at €10 million.
