The Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Ikubaba Yeye of Oyo Kingdom has installed high chief Gani Adams as the new Are Ona Kakanfo of yoruba race (Field marshal) in Ondo State.
The traditional titleholder of Iyimokun of Ife Kingdom, Prof.Queen Hajarat Abike, who stated this in a press statement signed and made available to Peoples Daily in Abuja, disclosing that high chief Gani Adams was installed on the 13th of January, 2018.
She congratulated the new field marshal of yoruba race for his installation, praying that God would continue to protect him throughout his lifetime.
Her words: “My natural/cultural brother from Akoko north-west of Ondo State from where I hailed, I am very proud of you. You will live long to see to the security of lives and properties in Yoruba land in particular and Nigeria in general”.
She thanked his Royal Majesty, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi of Oyo Kingdom as well as Oni of Ife Kingdom in Osun State, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi for crowning high chief Gani Adams as the Are Ona Kakanfo of yoruba race.
