Community clash has been reported in Gidigi village over land dispute leading to lost of live of one young man in Katcha Local government area of Niger State.
President of Gidigi Village of Gbakogi Ward lamented over the impact of the dispute on the lives and activities of the people in the area.
According to sources, Gidigi village has been repeatedly attacked by Gbapo village, resulting in the killing of a young man who just returned home from his NYSC in Enugu state.
The said community are appealing to the authorities concern and governor Mohammed Umar Bago to urgently intervene by investigating the circumstances leading to the dispute for immediate actions before the situation gets out of control.
The Niger State Police command and the state government are yet to issue official statements on the development before filing the report.
