The Secretary to the Government of the Federation(SGF), George Akume said that President Tinubu’s one year administration has recorded outstanding achievements within one year in job creation, security, access to capital for small and large businesses and inclusiveness.
He said others are areas of rule of law, fight against hunger, poverty and corruption.
He added that the ongoing execution of numerous projects, modernization of ports, are also parts of the achievements.
The SGF made this know during Ministerial Sectoral Updates organized by ministry of information.
He said “under President Tinubu’s stewardship within his first year in office, we have witnessed significant strides in various sectors of our economy.”
He said during the first year, giant strides were achieved through prudent fiscal policies and strategic investments, which has made Nigerian economy show resilience and potential for growth.
He said the administration’s focused on infrastructure, development, job creation and economic diversification has laid the foundation for sustainable progress and prosperity for all Nigerians.
He said the president is so keen about human capital development, which has made the present administration to make a substantial investments in healthcare and education.
“The launch of new healthcare facilities and the upgrade of existing ones, along with reforms in our educational system, underscores Government’s dedication to the well-being and future of our citizens”.
He further stated that safety and security of all Nigerians remains a top priority of the government.
He said It has strengthened security apparatus, enhanced intelligence gathering, and fostered greater collaboration among security agencies to address the multifaceted challenges of security across the country.
The SGF explained that despite the daunting challenges from all angles, President Tinubu has maintained his calm and demonstrated exemplary leadership qualities, thereby guiding our nation with vision and foresight.
He also reassured the citizens that government shall remain focused and committed to the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda for positive impact on the socio-economic life of Nigerians.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, said president Tinubu’s administration has give the Nigerian media ample opportunity to operate in a free atmosphere.
