From Godwin Agia, Jalingo

The Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Taraba State, Mr. Aaron Artimas, has expressed confidence that ongoing township and inter-city projects across the state will convince voters to re-elect Governor Agbu Kefas and the APC in 2027.
Speaking with People’s Daily in Jalingo on Wednesday, Artimas said the projects demonstrate the Kefas administration’s commitment to delivering transformation and infrastructure to Taraba communities.
According to him, the governor’s alignment with President Bola Tinubu is already attracting federal presence to the state in the form of roads, bridges and other developmental projects.
He explained that the projects are not only improving the physical outlook of towns and rural areas, but are also creating opportunities to attract investors and boost economic activities for citizens.
Artimas specifically commended President Bola Tinubu for reactivating work on the Ibi Bridge and for approving a new road link between Plateau and Taraba, describing them as projects Tarabans have long demanded.
“The ongoing projects across Taraba will convince electorates to vote Governor Agbu Kefas and APC in 2027 for continuity.
“I think Tarabans are with Governor Agbu Kefas, they are with Tinubu and APC. The alignment of Governor Kefas with government at the centre is already attracting the desired transformation that Tarabans have been craving for.
“The approval of major projects to be constructed in Taraba by President Tinubu will give the APC an edge over other political parties in the state,” he said.
On internal party matters, Artimas disclosed that the APC has set up a reconciliatory committee to resolve disputes and unite the party ahead of 2027, added that the state working committee will soon embark on a tour of the 16 LGAs for stocktaking.
“I want to assure you that the APC in Taraba is fully prepared to go into the 2027 election and win.
“Yes, we have pockets of internal grievances but our stakeholders are handling them to ensure a united APC family,” he assured.
