The Managing Director and CEO of Amio Global Project limited, Alhaji Aminu Isah Onokara, has been honored by the Forum of Independent Media Practitioners with Exemplary Beacon of Hope Award in Abuja.
The award which was presented to the real estate guru in his Abuja Office on Monday was witnessed by a large crowd of friends, business associates, men and women from his ethnic line who turned out enmass to celebrate a man they described a humble quiet, philanthropist.
It was indeed a moment of reflection for Onokara whose philanthropic gestures have touched many lives of the downtrodden across board, even though he has chosen to remain a silent giver till he was spotted out by the Association of Independent Publishers and Online Media covering the National Assembly.
Alhaji Aminu Isah Onokara is a rare gem and a kind hearted Nigerians from Kogi state whose humanitarian efforts had be keep only to his benefactors over the last decade, according to some of his friends present the presentation ceremony.
According to the chairman and of the forum, Sir Emmanuel Udie, the “Exemplary Beacon of Hope Award given to you today (Monday) is a cap that fits you and it is an honour you deserve based on reports from different interviews at our disposal.
“Your nomination is without fault and based on a long touching impact on so many Nigerians especially the orphans, the poor, the less privileged and the vulnerable in the society which had significantly impact on Nigerians across board, a manifestation that had stand you tall among others in our consideration for the award.
“Our award to you is coming on the ground that, you are God fearing ,a man of kind reputation without sentiment and a man of few words. This outstanding qualities thoroughly reviewed by our team of editors confirmed you (Ahaji Onkara) as our exemplary bacon of hope and your achievements as captured by our nomination letter speak to that effect.
In his response, Alhaji Aminu Isah Onokara thanked the group for the honor, noting that he is not the type that would broadcast his humanitarian gestures as his religion teaches him to give without letting his other hand to even know,
He however said, he is grateful that the media’s had decided to touch-light him without his knowledge .
While dedicating the award to his parents and all the good people of ebiraland, he called on Nigerians from all work of life to work for the interest and the good of the nation saying we have no other place we can call our nation except Nigeria.
The National Assembly Independent Print and Online Publisher’s Association is drawn from different media backgrounds, the quarterly Media personality award of 2025 is staged in every second quarter to honor Nigerians mostly on humanitarian and leadership contributions.
