The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), said the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, (Ojaja II), at 50 is a shinning example of traditional leadership.
CAN stated this in a statement issued on Saturday by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh.
It said, “This milestone not only marks the passage of time but also celebrates the profound impact you have made as a first-class traditional ruler and a beacon of hope and unity for our great nation.
“As Your Imperial Majesty, reflect on the past five decades, it is evident that your leadership has been characterized by a profound commitment to peace, cultural preservation, and the upliftment of our people.
“In a world often divided by differences, your role as a traditional leader highlights the significance of faith, love, and understanding. Your efforts to foster interfaith harmony and intercultural cooperation resonate deeply with our mission at CAN, where we believe that diversity should serve as both an asset and a unifying force for progress.
“As you celebrate this golden jubilee, may you continue to be blessed with wisdom, strength, and the grace to lead your people with integrity and purpose. We pray that God grants you many more years of good health and fulfillment in your noble endeavours.
“Once again, congratulations on this significant milestone. We look forward to your continued leadership and the positive impact you will undoubtedly make in the years to come.”
