Our investment in network expansion is non-negotiable – KEDCO MD

The Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has restated its commitment to continue to invest in its network to improve service delivery to its numerous customers.

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of KEDCO, Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna who gave this assurance, said KEDCO prioritizes the satisfaction of its numerous customers.

Dr Gwamna said the company’s investment in network maintenance and expansion was for the good of customers and we won’t relent in our efforts to guarantee quality service delivery.

The Kano DisCo boss said a lot of investments in billions of naira had been put into network and more would still be invested to upgrade and maintain the network.

On the ongoing Mass Metering, Dr Gwamna said KEDCO was ramping up metering to ensure that all customers get  metered going forward.

The CEO who vowed to end estimated billing in Kano franchise, appealed to customers to remain calm as KEDCO is partnering with the Fedral Government to capture all the customers within the franchise areas.
