Our operatives did not invade Emefiele’s office at CBN —DSS

The Department of State Services (DSS), has said that its operatives did not invade the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The DSS in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja by its Public Relations Officer, Peter Afunanya said, “the attention of the Department of State Services (DSS) has been drawn to the false news making the round that its operatives invaded the Central Bank of Nigeria and arrested its Governor, today 16/1/23. This is fake news and quite misleading.”

Meanwhile, the social media was agog on Monday, with report that the DSS arrested the governor of the apex bank.
