The speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley has condemned in its entirety the activities of hoodlums that invaded government and people’s warehouses for looting.

In a statement signed by his chief press secretary Hyellamada Bernard described the act as unfortunate, noting that the youths who are the leaders of tomorrow should not be allowed to be used by people who did not mean well for the state.

While commending Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for taking a proactive measures by immediately declaring 24 hour curfew to curtail the situation from further escalation to some parts of the state, Wesley added that people of the state are lucky to have leader like Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

He disclosed that just recently Governor Fintiri rolled out his plans on palliative measures that will take care of all the classes of citizens wondered what brought about the ugly incident.

He reiterates that the Fintiri administration has been mindful on the plight of youths as thousands of youths were trained with different skills and empowered to be self reliant with more plans to empower more Youths across the state.

The speaker Adamawa State House of thanked the security operatives for their prompt response to the situation called on parents to always advise their children not to engage in any act that will breach the peace that is being enjoyed in the state.
