PDP can only destroy APC if we are united – Lamido

Date:

From Mika’il Tsoho, Dutse

The former Jigawa State governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido, has urged members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to unite themselves, as it’s the only way PDP can takeover power in 2019.
Lamido stated this yesterday when one of the PDP chairmanship aspirants, Prince Charles Secondus, visited the Jigawa PDP headquarters in Dutse the state capital.
He explained that the members of PDP, as a party of responsible and honorary people and party for all Nigerians, need to make sacrifices during the incoming PDP Convention and save Nigeria from the hands of the ruling party, APC.
“Nigerians are tired with APC government; and only PDP can make APC era a history. But this can never happen until we are united. Our party can only destroy APC if we are united. So we have to make a sacrifice to save this country,” Lamido said.
The former governor, who described APC as a party of big looters, said, APC got power unprepared without any agenda.
While speaking during the visit, the PDP Chairmanship aspirant, Prince Charles Secondus promised to reconnect PDP and restore its image if he is elected National Chairman of the party.
Secondus also assured the party members that if he emerges as Party Chairman, he will do his best to avoid interference on members’ choices.
