Immediate past Publicity Secretary, Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP Benue State, Chief Bemgba Iortyom has been appointed official spokesperson of a frontline candidate Engr. Conrad Utaan for the party’s National Chairmanship position.
The appointment according to a press statement signed by Engr. Utaan, on Tuesday in Makurdi, takes immediate effect and will see Hon. Iortyom functioning in a broad role covering press and public communications.
The statement read inter alia, “this is announcing the appointment of Hon. Bemgba Iortyom as the official Spokesperson of my campaign, the Engr. Conrad Utaan PDP National Chairmanship Campaign Organisation, 2024.
“I am pleased to note that this appointment adds depth to my quest to serve our great party in the office of National Chairman to continue to drive through the reformation and repositioning agenda.
“Hon. Iortyom comes to the job with a breadth of experience spanning 8 years as State Publicity Secretary of the PDP for Benue, during which period he doubled as Chairman of the Forum of PDP State Publicity Secretaries nationwide.”
