The Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum (PDP-GF) has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State on his Supreme Court victory on Friday.
The Forum of PDP Governors expressed its delighted with the verdict of the Supreme Court in the case instituted by both the APC and Labour Party Governorship Candidates against the incumbent PDP Governor who was the choice of the people at the polls.
The forum, in a statement on Friday by its Director-General, Hon CID Maduabum expressed happiness that the Supreme Court’s verdict upheld the concurrent positive judgments of both the Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.
This, the PDP-GF said, is a judicial affirmation of the will and votes of the people of Delta State who spoke emphatically with their votes on March 25, 2024.
This victory, the forum added, further empowers Governor Oborevwori to continue to deliver on the projects and programmes that are dear and impactful to the people of Delta State.
The statement by Maduabum said, “The Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum (PDP-GF), under the chairmanship of H.E. Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (CON) and Governor of Bauchi State, congratulates H.E. Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his Supreme Court victory on January 19, 2024.
“The Forum of PDP Governors is delighted with the verdict of the Supreme Court in the case instituted by both the APC and Labour Party Governorship Candidates against the incumbent PDP Governor who was the choice of the people at the polls.
